Looking for something beer related to go to this weekend in southern Palm Beach County? Western Delray Beach's latest craft beer bar, TAP Global Beer Collection, will be throwing a grand opening party this Saturday, February 8th starting at noon and lasting all day.
We told you about TAP Global's soft opening a couple of weeks ago, and now, after a modest month to work out the usual details of a newly opened establishment, the western Delray Beach craft beer theme park is ready to open in grand fashion.
Starting at 4 p.m., a 'beer garden' is set to be established outside, with six breweries on hand pouring samples of their product while patrons can fill out a 'passport' punchcard that, once completed, gives a sweet discount to further purchases at the bar.
The real magic will happen at around 7 p.m., when kegs of the following (and more, we're told) will be tapped: Funky Buddha No Crusts, Cigar City White Oak Jai Alai, Lagunitas Sucks, Unibroue Emphemere Cherry, Lost Coast Bock, Stone 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA, Full Sail Nut Brown, Evil Twin Lil' B, and Weyerbacher Bootes (Northern Hemisphere Constellation Brewers' Select Series).
Expect the sounds of local rock band 3rd Degree and DJ Dragonfly during the event.
With 378 bottles and 72 taps, there's bound to be something for everyone; and those hundreds of bottles might be a little easier to figure out too, as TAP organizes things stylistically as opposed to by region or alphabetically. TAP's general manager Oscar Ramirez said, "It helps people move through styles and find similar beers to ones they already enjoy."
