Monday

Wine Down Mondays

Mondays are the worst day of the week. You're tired and you still have to deal with the rest of the workweek before you reach the fun of the weekend. Treat yourself to a bottle of wine at Vic & Angelo's Wine Down Mondays. Starting at 4 pm, the restaurant features half-off most bottles of wine. Call (561) 278-9570.

Monday Night Reggae

Who says your jam sessions need to be reserved for weekends? On Monday nights at 9 pm, Boston's on the Beach hosts a Reggae Night from 9 pm to 2 am. Kulcha Shok's Lance-O and Rythmnation are performing. The cover is 5 bucks. Call (561) 278-3364.

Tuesday

Two for Tuesday (aka Date Night)

If you have a date and don't want to fork out a ton of cash, Bistro 1001 hosts a Tuesday dinner special in which 40 bucks gets you can appetizer to share, two larges plates, and a bottle of wine from 5 to 10 pm. Not a bad deal when you're not sure whether your date is worth the investment. Call (561) 803-1908.

"We Come in Peace" All About Peas

Many of us preach local and sustainable, but can barely operate a microwave. If you're looking to learn how to cook with the seasons Whole Foods Boca is teaching a class about cooking with everyone's favorite childhood vegetable: peas. Starting at 1 pm, the class is $5.

New Salmon Class

Whether its the fishy smell or the delicate texture, a lot of people are scared to make fish. Get over it at Jean Pierre's Cooking School on Tuesday at 7 pm with the New Salmon Class--this is the first time its been held, ever. For 68 bucks, guests will learn how to prepare salmon three different ways.

Wednesday

Blues and a Bottle

Got the midweek blues? Liven it up with some music and wine. This and every Wednesday the Backyard Bar features live blues and 50% off all bottle of wine starting at 7 pm. Call (561) 339-2444.

Loyalty Day

Did you know that May 1 is Loyalty Day in the US? It's set aside to reaffirm loyalty to the United States. Well,World of Beer Coconut Creek is observing loyalty day by bringing out the special release beers. Moa Imperial Stout, Moa the Hoppit, Red Brick the Lost Years, and Mazy Magnolia Southern Belle will all be on draft for the bar's loyal customers.

Thursday

Family Nights

Sometimes you're just too freaking tired to pick the kids up and prepare a meal. Unfortunately, eating out can weigh heavily on the wallet. Well, it's not so bad on Thursdays. Every week from 5 to 9 pm, Bobbi Sue Bar-B-Que features a family nights where kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. And balloon artists and face painters will keep them busy while you unwind with a glass--or two--of wine.

Spanish and American Wine Dinner

If you're looking to liven up the workweek with a fancy dinner, The Grateful Palate is hosting a five course wine dinner--with sparkling wine reception and passed hors d'oeuvres--on Thursday at 7 pm. The event is $80 per person. Reservations required. Call (954) 467-1998.

Lucky Ladies Night

Ladies, there are some nights of the week when you don't have to chat up guys just to score a discounted bar tab. It's called the beauty of Ladies Night. Prime is starting up its first ever ladies night this Thursday with half-priced cocktails and $7.77 Veuve Yellow Label and sushi, from 8 pm to Midnight.
