On May 7, the restaurant official announced its closing on it's facebook page:

The management Team at Lauderdale Grill would like to relay a important message to all of our loyal facebook followers. Yes, we are closing down, the last day we will be open for business will be this Friday MAY 9TH. We would like to thank all of you for making these four years a wonderful experience. To pass on our gratitude we are offering to you that mention this facebook post 50% off your entire bill this Thursday MAY 8TH and Friday MAY 9TH. We are not accepting loyalty reward redemption's due to this offer also this is excluded during happy hour and 7.99 lunches. We hope to see you guys sometime within the next three days to say goodbye and good luck. COME IN TONIGHT AND JOIN US FOR PETES LAST PERFORMANCE.

The indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant was a favorite among locals and tourists for its inexpensive lunches, laid-back vibe, and renowned Bloody Mary bar. It was awarded "Best Bloody Mary" by New Times in 2010.
