Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days. Whether you're looking to drink some wine, witness some dating games, or drink some more wine -- obviously -- there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.

Monday

Customer Appreciation Dinner

Halloween is over, which means that the time to capitalize on the rest of the holidays is here. To get customers in the holiday spending spirit, Whole Foods Market is hosting an appreciation dinner on Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For a $5 donation, which will benefit the Palm Beach County Food Bank, the store is treating guests to a holiday food and wine tasting, including dishes like assorted stuffed bries; poached salmon; holiday ham; roasted turkey and gravy; sweet potato pie; and more. Obviously, no holiday celebration is complete without the obligatory seasonal music; live musicians will be on-site.

Whole Foods Market is located at 2635 State Road 7 in Wellington. Call 561-904-4000, or visit wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/wellington.

Art + Farm Wine Dinner

Food is great on its own; same with wine. Together, however, a well paired combination is like a party in your mouth. On Monday at 6:30 p.m., executive chef Steven Zobel and winemaker Rob McDonald are creating an oral celebration with the Art + Farm wine dinner at d.b.a./ cafe. The cost to attend is $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required. Visit eventbrite for tickets, artfarmdbacafe-zvents.eventbrite.com/.

d.b.a./ cafe is located at 2364 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-565-3392, or visit dba2z.com.

Tuesday

Ladies Night With the Dating Game

There is no one on the planet who doesn't appreciate free adult bevys -- except for those who don't drink. Ladies: you might be on the short end of the stick in terms of wage and gender equality, but you do get to drink for free Tuesday night at the Dubliner Fort Lauderdale from 10 p.m. to midnight. This week Supercon Cobra Commander is hosting "the Dating Game" with Florida Super Championship Wrestling; watch your favorite superheroes and villains -- or just superheroes and villains -- pair up in a live dating show.

The Dubliner is located at 210 SW 2nd St. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-523-1213, or visit dublinerfortlauderdale.com.

Cool Island: Hot Flavors

Spicy foods may be more prolific when the temperatures are soaring, but this is South Florida, it's always warm. For anyone looking to learn about creating scorching hot flavors, there's no need to look further than nearby Jamaica. On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., at Publix Aprons Cooking School, chef Hugh, a jerk expert, is teaching participants the basics of Jamaican cooking. The cost to attend is $40 per person.

Publix Aprons Cooking School is located at 1181 S. University Drive in Plantation. Call 954-577-7632, or visit publix.com/aprons/.

Wednesday

A Special Wine Dinner With Chefs Dean Max, Jeremy Ford & Chris DeGweck

Wine dinners are always a good time; however, wine dinners with three local legends in the kitchen are that much better. On Wednesday at 7 p.m., Bistro Ten Zero One's executive chef Chris DeGweck is teaming up with 3030 Ocean alum's Dean Max and Jeremy Ford for a five-course seafood dinner, each of which is perfectly paired with a matching wine. The cost to attend is $60 per person.

Beer Bingo

Bingo is not just for old folks homes; it's for beer-drinkers too. On Wednesday, November 6 at 7 p.m., downtown Fort Lauderdale's Riverside Market is hosting, yet another, beer bingo night. For $5 for the first card, $2 for every additional card, and however much you want to spend on food and beer, the monthly event includes prizes and, most obviously, plenty of entertainment.

Wine Down Wednesday

By the time hump-day rolls around, you're probably in need of a beverage. Every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Mas Vino Wine and Spirits hosts a free tasting in-store. This week the shop will be sampling a number of Spanish and Portuguese offerings, such as some Hacienda Lopez wines, Proyecto Garnanacha Moncayo, and Quinta de la Rosa LBV & Tawny Porto. The event is open to the public.

Washington State Wine Tasting

While most of us will take what we get when it comes to wine -- sometimes it serves more of a utilitarian purpose than anything else -- it's nice to, at least, get an idea of what has gone into making it. If you're looking to expand your wine knowledge while throwing some down, Cafe Maxx is hosting a Washington State wine tasting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. For $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity, sample wines from the Pacific Northwest.

Cafe Maxx is located at 2601 E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. Call 954-782-0606, or visit cafemaxx.com.
