VooDoo BBQ & Grill is opening their first south Florida location in Pembroke Pines this Sunday, January 13 at Pembroke Lakes Square (151. N. Hiatus Road). This location is the first of 26 locations planned for Florida.
The fast casual restaurant with a Cajun vibe features slow-cooked ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and brisket.
All meats are hand-rubbed with authentic Cajun spices before being smoked. Meats are available in sandwiches, po' boys, and in platters by the pound. A brisket sandwich, slow-smoked for 14 hours is $6.99, while a pulled pork po' buy is $5.99.
A wide range of New Orleans specialties are available like BBQ Gulf
shrimp ($9.99), crawfish bisque ($3.99/$6.49), and fried jumbo shrimp
($8.99).
The restaurant will open on Sunday, January 13 at 11
a.m. The first 99 customers will each win free BBQ for a year.
Each winner will receive 52 vouchers, each good for a free meal of their
choice (up to $10). In addition, VooDoo BBQ will give away prizes and
samples throughout the day.
VooDoo BBQ is also holding a preview
fundraiser on Saturday, January 12 to benefit Relay for Life Pembroke
Pines. From 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., donate $10 and sample everything on the
menu.
