Everyone likes to get in on a good deal, whether it's an end-of-season sale, half-off steal, BOGO bash -- or even a discounted meal. It just sounds (and tastes) better when you know you're saving some cash.
Starting Wednesday, October 1, and running through November 7, the 8th annual Dine Out Lauderdale is back to help you save money while dining out around town. The five-week celebration gives patrons a chance to experience some phenomenal deals from Broward County's top restaurants and chefs as select Fort Lauderdale restaurants offer specially crafted, multicourse menus for $35 per person.
To help you conserve time and funds, here's a list of this year's three must-try places while Dine Out is in full force.

Unless otherwise specified, these deals are offered Sunday through Thursday nights, excluding the week of the boat show.
3. Chart House
The Chart House first opened in Aspen, Colorado, five decades ago. Today, the restaurant has more than a dozen locations in 15 states -- including seven right here in Florida. The Fort Lauderdale location will be participating in this year's Dine Out event, and the menu -- valid from Sunday to Thursday -- will offer a three-course tasting. Although it's not as impressive as a four-course deal, the selection offers great value. Start with an award-winning New England clam chowder and continue on with the restaurant's snapper Hemingway -- a dish that is close to the $35 price tag all by itself -- a Parmesan-crusted, sautéed snapper topped with jumbo lump crab. End the meal with a slice of homemade Key lime pie.
This oceanfront Fort Lauderdale spot is not known for being inexpensive; however, if you can really stuff your face, it's probably a deal to dine out at the Atlantic Hotel & Spa's signature restaurant. For the Dine Out event, Beauty and the Feast is offering a four-course meal with plenty of options, available Sunday through Thursday. Choose a smoked fish dip or beet and arugula salad for starters; Florida crab bisque or short rib quesadillas for a second course; and finish with seafood paella, Key West pepper shrimp, or spicy mussels. Last, a taste of some of the chef's homemade ice cream should leave you stuffed -- and with plenty of cash still left in your pocket.
1. Cafe Maxx
For Dine Out Lauderdale, Pompano Beach's Cafe Maxx's menu is offering a superb steal: a four-course dinner, valid Sunday through Friday, that includes options like escargots, beef carpaccio, banana-lime grilled shrimp, onion-crusted yellowtail snapper, and carrot cake with a pineapple cream cheese frosting.
To make searching for each deal easier, or if you need information on-the-go, be sure to check out the free Dine Out Lauderdale app, available here in the iTunes app store. It features an enhanced GPS to get you where you need to go, and filters allow tech-savvy visitors to spin a dial to locate restaurants by cuisine or location, including nightlife destinations like bars and clubs.
