Monday

Chef François Payard hosts Lunch with Payard

Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival Continues, the ultimate annual foodie event in Palm Beach is STILL going strong Monday and Tuesday. Today from noon to 3:30 p.m. enjoy the longest mid-day meal ever as James Beard Award Winning Chef François Payard hosts Lunch with Payard at Pistache French Bistro.

The festival features an array of new chefs and talent, such as Ted Allen of Chopped, celebrity chef Todd English, Hedy Goldsmith of Michael's Genuine, Timon Balloo of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, François Payard, and many others. Tuesday

7th-Annual Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival's Grand Tasting

The Grand Tasting takes place Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at 150 Worth Ave. in Palm Beach. Yes, it will cost you $100 per person to get in, but this event is worth every penny. Winemakers, artisans, over 30 chefs (from celebrities to unknown geniuses), and restaurants from Miami to Palm Beach Gardens will be showcasing their skills at the festival's grand finale, the 7th Annual Grand Tasting. It all takes place sprawled throughout the boutique shops and designer stores of 150 Worth's two-floor courtyard, situated just one block from the breezy Atlantic Ocean. Eat your way through South Florida's most coveted dining and wine experience, culminating with the 4th Annual Grand Chef Throwdown, hosted again by WPTV's Jay Cashmere and presented by Creekstone Farms.

Vegan and Gluten-Free Holiday Baking Class

Green Bar & Kitchen in Fort Lauderdale is putting the fun back in vegan and gluten-free baking with a class this Tuesday. From 6 to 8 p.m. everyone's favorite new healthy/ethical downtown eatery will host Shelbey of PAC Pastries food truck as she teaches you how to bake up apple pie, coconut creme egg nog, and banana chunk loaf bread. Admission is $30 and can be paid for here.

Wednesday

Ugly Sweater Contest and Beer Floats Party

Wednesday, December at 8 p.m., Riverside Market in Fort Lauderdale is teaming up with the Boston Beer Company for a round of ice cream beer floats featuring seasonal Sam Adams brews. Wear your ugliest sweater for the chance to win awesome - probably beer-related - prizes. Boston Brewing Co. will be on hand creating tasting beer floats from Sam Adams seasonal like Samuel Adams Merry-Maker, a 9% abv gingerbread stout.

Thursday

The Art and Wine Food Series: Holiday Sparklers

'Tis the season of eating and drinking. But mostly drinking (no offense, eating). The upcoming installment of the Art of Wine and Food Series will be about all thinks sparkling wine. Taste an elite sampling from around the globe with the help of host Stephanie Miskew who carries the audacious title of sommelier. Not in the mood for another liquid lunch? The guest chef of the month will be preparing the perfect foods to complement your palette. How's that for sparkly?

The Art and Wine Food Series presents Holiday sparklers is Thursday, December 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale located at One East Las Olas Boulevard.
