2. Cafe Boulud

This Thanksgiving, why not really treat your family to a three-course meal at Cafe Boulud at the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach? From 1 to 9 p.m., the restaurant will serve a feast prepared by chef Rick Mace and pastry chef Eric Snow. The menu will cover everything from appetizers like venison and foie gras terrine to entrées including a roasted heritage turkey, wild salmon, or filet mignon as the main course. The sweeter side of things will offer specialty desserts like a traditional pumpkin pie, apple tart, and carrot cake. The three-course prix fixe dinner is $75 per person, $30 per child 10 and under, excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity. For reservations, call 561-655-6060.

1. Dada

For the past six years, Dada — and the entire Subculture Restaurant Group, including the Dubliner in Boca Raton and Howley's and Longboards in West Palm Beach — have celebrated Thanksgiving Day by saying "thank you" to the people who help make their restaurants a success. Proceeds from the holiday sales at each restaurant are donated to various local charities, including the Delray Achievement Center. This year, the group hopes to break $10,000, and if you're thinking about making it a meal to remember, act now and make a reservation at your favorite spot. As usual, Dada will be doing its traditional, sit-down, three-course Thanksgiving feast, and — because the holiday falls within the celebration of Hanukkah for the first time — expect to see special dishes like a halva bread stuffing. Desserts will also be a new twist on familiar favorites; think apple cobbler and pumpkin mousse instead of pie. It will be a cheat day you'll never forget. The restaurant will be open at 5 p.m. and seats as many as 200 before closing. The cost is $18.95 to $23 per person.
