Are you ready for 4/20? What about some green tea? Even if you don't care about any of the myriad celebratory offerings this weekend, you're going to have to eat something.

We perused the highs and lows of the Broward-Palm Beach area and cooked up this tasty menu of awesome destinations. Whether you're looking to walk around and consume copious drinks, find inner peace with some Japanese ceremonies, indulge in some herbal tasting brews or just drink beer with your dog, this list has everything you need.

5. Couples Cooking: Grilling Fish

It's getting freaking hot, which means you should try to lower your A/C bill. One of the best ways to do so is to get outside and grill. To help you learn how to cook one of the trickier food items to prepare over an open flame, Publix Aprons Cooking School is hosting a couples grilling class on Friday at 6 p.m. Recipes include grilled Salmon with Citrus and Kiwi Salad; Marinated and Grilled Mahi Tacos with Swiss Chard Slaw, Avocado and Lime Crema; Dry Rub Grilled Grouper with Caramelized Leek and New Potato Hash; Lemon Mint Pound Cake with Macerated Strawberries. Visit publix.com/aprons.

4. Demonstrations of Sado: The Way of Tea

Those looking for a cultural escape this weekend, have the change to get in on a real Japanese tea ceremony. This Saturday Morikami Museum and Gardens is hosting its monthly tradition of Japanese sado. The spirit of sado -- harmony (wa), reverence (kei), purity (sei), tranquility (jaku) -- along with a sip of green tea and a sweet is supposed to help you bring a calm perspective into your busy life (something we could all use these days). It takes place at Noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m. It's $5 with paid admission to the museum. Visit morikami.org.

3. Spring/Easter Yappy Hour

Poor Fido is left all by his lonesome while you're out paying the bills during the workweek. Leaving him at home while you drink on the weekends is kind of a jerk move. Bring him with you to Funky Buddha Brewery's Spring/Easter Yappy Hour this Saturday. Starting at 3 p.m., the spot is hosting NoMore HomelessPets Ft Lauderdale for a doggie playdate/fundraiser/drinking occasion. Anyone who makes a $5 donation to the rescue gets $1 off food truck purchases as well as an extended $1 happy hour until 7 p.m. Visit facebook.com/events.

2. 4/20 Lagunitas Waldo's Special Ale Tapping

For those looking to celebrate 4/20 in a legal way, The Riverside Market is hosting a special holiday tapping of pot-inspired Lagunitas Waldo's Special Ale. It takes place at 4:20 p.m. Each pint is five bucks. Other Lagunitas brews will be on tap.
