Donald Trump Suing NBC After Being Fired Over Controversial Comments About Mexicans

Donald Trump, who proclaimed that he will become the greatest jobs president "God ever created," has just been fired from his second job ever since announcing his candidacy for the presidency. According to multiple reports, NBC has dropped Trump for comments made at the very same announcement when he made allusions about undocumented Mexicans being "rapists and bringing drugs" into the country.

Citing those comments, NBC on Monday announced that it will no longer air Trump's Miss USA and Miss Universe pageant shows. The broadcasting company has also fired Trump from his own TV shows The Apprentice and its sister show Celebrity Apprentice, where Trump made the catch phrase "You're fired!" popular.

Those shows will continue to air, but will have a different host going forward.

All of this just a week after Univision canceled Trump's Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants from being aired on the spanish-speaking network.

NBC released a press release announcing Trump's ouster, declaring that their values are not on par with Trump's:
At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump. To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC. In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in “The Apprentice” on NBC.
On June 16, Trump released a live-video feed announcing that he was throwing his hat into the 2016 White House ring. But during the speech, Trump made disparaging remarks about undocumented Mexicans that make their way into the states, saying, "They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists."

He also flippantly threw in: "And some I assume are good people."

Trump defiantly stood by his comments, and reportedly banned Univision employees from entering his Miami golf course after the network announced it was cutting ties with him.

Not one to stand idly by, Trump did that thing he always does when someone hurts his feelings. He's suing! He also says that he was already going to quit The Apprentice to focus on his campaign, so joke's on NBC.

A statement via Trump's Instagram, released hours after the NBC firing news broke, says that he stands by his statements over the undocumented Mexicans, and calls NBC weak.

“We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States," Trump said through a statement. "As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped and it must be stopped now. Long ago I told NBC that I would not being doing The Apprentice because I am running for President in order to Make our Country Great Again.”

Trump also calls NBC out for standing by Brian Williams and not by him.

“If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court. Furthermore, they will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be,” he added.
