Palm Beach County Restaurants Serving Thanksgiving Dinner 2015

Thanksgiving: our nation's annual food-focused holiday, commemorating the harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621. Held the fourth Thursday of November, the day marks an epic feast.

It also means someone has to cook — a lot. Which means you shouldn't spend the day in the kitchen when you can have someone else make Thanksgiving dinner for you. And for the house full of stranded friends, kids with kids of their own, and unwanted relatives.

This year, forget the long lines at the grocery store and all that sweating and laboring over the stove, and avoid the piles of dirty dishes no one is going to help you clean. Instead, take the drama out of your Thanksgiving dinner and bring the family to one of the many local restaurants preparing a special holiday meal. It's all the mouthwatering memories you'll ever need — without the work.

The Ironwood Steak and Seafood restaurant at PGA National Resort & Spa will be be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving and offering a buffet dinner priced at $78 per person and $30 for children ages 6 to 12. And because no Thanksgiving would be complete without one of your family members carving up the turkey at  the table, they're giving you the option to enhance your dining experience by adding on a whole eight-pound roasted turkey — cooked to perfection and prepared by our master chefs — to the table. Complete with all of the carving tools and a PGA apron, your turkey is served family-style for everybody's enjoyment. The cost is $95, not including buffet. 

Hudson

Give thanks at Hudson in Delray Beach this year and treat your family to a meal crafted by celebrity chef Paul Niedermann, the season-nine winner on Fox's Hell’s Kitchen. The restaurant will feature a three-course Thanksgiving feast available from noon to 8 p.m. Choices include a roasted butternut squash bisque, wild mushroom risotto, roasted turkey, honey-cured ham, pan-roasted Atlantic salmon, and a variety of seasonally themed desserts. The three-course Thanksgiving feast is $40 per person, and a kids' menu is also available.

Thanksgiving doesn't have to be all about the big turkey dinner. You can start early too. If you're an early riser, get your gobble going for breakfast with Rack's Fat Rooster in Delray Beach. It'll be serving a Southern-style brunch on Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dada

For the past seven years, Dada — and the entire Subculture Restaurant Group, including the Dubliner in Boca Raton and Howley's and Longboards in West Palm Beach — have celebrated Thanksgiving Day by saying "thank you" to patrons. Proceeds from the holiday sales at each restaurant are donated to various local charities, including the Delray Achievement Center. This year, the group hopes to break $10,000, and if you're thinking about making it a meal to remember, act now and make a reservation at your favorite spot. As usual, Dada will be doing its traditional sit-down, three-course Thanksgiving feast. The restaurant will be open at 5 p.m., and the cost is $24 person. This year, all proceeds will go to executive chef Bruce Feingold's Healthy Bellies and Boca Helping Hands nonprofit initiatives.

Racks Downtown Eatery + Tavern

This Boca Raton restaurant located in the heart of Mizner Park will be offering a three-course prix-fixe meal priced at $34.95 for adults ($14.95 for kids 12 years and younger). What will you get? A starter salad followed by a roast turkey dinner complete with all the fixings or a choice of root-beer-glazed ham, finished with a pecan pie or pumpkin pie for dessert. The restaurant will be open from noon to 10 p.m. Or take the hassle out of the holiday by ordering a complete Thanksgiving dinner from Rapoport's Restaurant Group; it's offering a multicourse meal with all the essentials for a traditional holiday feast. Pickup is curbside at Bogart’s Bar & Grille located at the Cinemark Palace 20 (3200 Airport Road) on Thanksgiving Day or the afternoon prior. All orders must be placed by November 23 at 3 p.m. To place an order call 561-826-1791.

Vic & Angelo's

On Thanksgiving, Vic & Angelo's executive chef, Erick Miranda, will present a three-course Thanksgiving Day prix-fixe menu that will satisfy every craving on your culinary bucket list. For $22.95 per person, Delray Beach and North Palm Beach County diners will be able to enjoy roast turkey, Parmesan mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, honey-glazed root vegetables, dried fruit, and a gigantic scoop of sausage stuffing. Patrons can also order off the regular dinner menu. Thanksgiving dinner hours are 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. 

Farmer's Table

Boca Raton's Farmer's Table will be offering a fresh take on Thanksgiving dinner this year with a meal created exclusively for Thanksgiving. For $45 per person ($22.50 for children), you'll get Joyce Farms heritage turkey breast, caramelized cauliflower, maple-smashed sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts with lemon and walnuts, apple and leek multigrain stuffing, Florida orange-scented fresh cranberry sauce, and natural gravy. End it with Ivy's handcrafted pumpkin pie and complimentary tea and coffee. The restaurant will be open from noon to 8 p.m.

Tanzy

Be thankful for every bite this Thanksgiving at Tanzy in Boca Raton. The restaurant will offer a prix-fixe menu beginning with parsnip and apple soup or endive and arugula salad. All guests will enjoy a main course of herb-roasted turkey accompanied by a cornucopia of sides, including a cranberry and quince bread pudding, sautéed green beans, sweet potato, confit chestnuts, turkey gravy, cranberry compote, and fresh-baked Parker House rolls. Be sure to leave room for dessert: Tanzy will be serving a special Three Pumpkin Pie and Pink Lady Apple Crisp. The three-course Thanksgiving feast is $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 years and younger.

One of the best things about celebrating the holidays in South Florida is being able to dine alfresco. Cafe Boulud's award-winning terrace and fountain courtyard dining rooms provide a beautiful setting where family and friends can share a memorable Thanksgiving meal. Dine indoors or out and partake in executive chef Rick Mace's three-course holiday menu highlighting local and seasonal ingredients, served from 1 to 9 p.m. That includes traditional heritage turkey with savory sides and delicious desserts. A vegetarian option is also available.

Miami's steakhouse, Meat Market, will be offering several à la carte dinner specials on Thanksgiving at its Palm Beach location. Acclaimed chef Sean Brasel's will launch a special holiday menu with fall-inspired favorites including a Bell and Evans fresh turkey leg roulade stuffed with sour dough, house smoked pork belly, and Peruvian corn; a wood-grilled Bell and Evans fresh-citrus- and vanilla-marinated sous vide turkey breast with cauliflower pure, roasted cauliflower, and candied bacon and tomato marmalade; and a mixed grill that will allow diners to sample the turkey leg and sous vide breast, along with an American bison short rib crusted with walnut praline demi and bone-marrow flan. Hampton Forks Kitchen & Table

If you want to relax at home on Thanksgiving but don't want to cook, let chef Chris Marshall at Hampton Forks Kitchen & Table prepare your holiday feast instead. Meals are available for pickup or delivery. Menu highlights include charcuterie like a country paté, mousse truffé, salumi, and rosemary ham. Entrées feature a carved, herb-butter-roasted turkey and smoked ham. Pick from dozens of sides like Gran Marnier cranberry sauce, sausage or traditional stuffing, and roasted garlic butter mashed potatoes. Order by Friday November 20 and all you’ll have to do is select the perfect wine and set a beautiful table. Pickups are available on Wednesday, November 25, and on Thanksgiving Day. Local delivery is available on Wednesday, November 25, for orders more than $100. Hampton Forks prepares its food in small batches, with seriously sourced ingredients.

Start a new family tradition and celebrate Thanksgiving at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa. Situated on the longest stretch of secluded beachfront in Palm Beach County, the hotel will be offering a Thanksgiving buffet inside the Grand Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will feature a variety of carving stations, a raw bar, seasonal fresh fruit, a glass of Champagne, and more. Entrées will include roasted duck, lemon rosemary turkey, leg of lamb, and Chilean sea bass. The cost is $55 per person and $20 for children under 12. The restaurant is open from 5 to 9 p.m. 

Avocado Grill

This Thanksgiving, Avocado Grill in West Palm Beach is doing something different: forgoing the traditional holiday meal for something much more satisfying. That means no dry, tough turkey, boring gravy, butter-basted casseroles, or overly sweet desserts. Served from 3 to 9 p.m. on November 26, Avocado Grill’s Thanksgiving menu will instead feature a delicious mix of signature small plates and entrées along with a creative twist on seasonal favorites. The three-course meal is $39 per person.

The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is celebrating Thanksgiving Day on November 26 with an ocean-inspired feast at its main restaurant, 3800 Ocean. Guests can choose from three dining options for the all-American holiday. Thanksgiving morning begins with a breakfast buffet with a full assortment of seafood, pastries, and carving stations for $28 for adults and $14 for children under 12, served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. For those preferring to sleep in, the Grand Brunch Buffet presents a raw bar, soup and salad station, and entrées such as dijon-herb-crusted salmon or roasted turkey. Cost is $65 for adults and $18 for children under 12, served from noon to 3 p.m. Last, families can leave the day of cooking and dishwashing behind for the Thanksgiving Dinner prix-fixe menu. The cost is $65 for adults and $18 for children under 12, served from 5 to 10 p.m.

Spoto’s Oyster Bar in PGA Commons will be serving up a mouthwatering Thanksgiving Day feast on Thursday, November 26, from noon to 7 p.m. The holiday menu will showcase traditional Thanksgiving favorites, seasonal sea-to-table entrées, and surf-and-turf classics. Of course, if you just want oysters, you can do that too.
