SunGhosts
SunGhosts may be Miami's best band, but their fan base reaches beyond the city limits. From the 305 to the 954, the local garage rockers will hit up Jump the Shark in celebration of the release of their latest EP, Parhelion, which was recorded in both Davie and Miami last summer. "We wanted this EP to be an appetizer before we release the full-length album," singer/guitarist Nik Balseiro told our sister paper Miami New Times. Kristin Chenoweth is as perky and hilarious as she is überly popular. Having taken on various roles from Wicked and The Muppets Show on ABC, Chenoweth will play the role of headliner as she performs a mix of her favorite songs — Broadway showtunes, pop standards, and music from her latest album, Coming Home — during her upcoming gig at the Broward Center.

2016 South Florida Folk Fest
The new year always calls for some good folk music. And the 2016 South Florida Folk Fest will be bringing you two days' worth of roots, Americana, blues, and, well, folk music from Spuyten Duyvil, Zoe Lewis, the Kennedys, and a handful of others. Performances aside, there will also be a songwriting competition, workshops, a jam area, and a fire circle.
