Farm to Kitchen: Top Nutrient-Dense Foods
Farmer’s Table (Wyndham Hotel Boca, 1901 N. Military Trail., Boca Raton) is hosting a one-hour class about cooking with food containing top nutrients. The class is $10 and is at 1 p.m. Samples include orange-scented kale salad with chickpea croutons, apricot glazed salmon, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Register at EventBrite.com.

Third Annual Pi Day
Funky Buddha Brewery (1201 NE 38th St., Oakland Park) will be selling pie-flavored brews to commemorate pi day. This includes Carrot Cake Wheat Ale, Lemon Meringue Blonde Ale, Strawberry Shortcake Wheat Wine, and German Chocolate Cake. The fun starts at 3:14 p.m., with a pie-eating contest at 8 p.m. Nerd outfits are encouraged. Visit FunkyBuddhaBrewery.com.

Whole Foods Market St. Patrick's Day Specials
Whole Foods Market (1845 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. in West Palm Beach; 810 N. University Drive in Coral Springs; 2411 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach; 2635 FL-7 in Wellington; 1903 S. University Drive in Davie) will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in food style. An in-store bar will feature $1 Guinness Extra Stout and Harp Irish Lager bottles, $5 Irish grilled cheese, $6 Dubliner sandwich, $9 bangers and mash, and $15 Killer Kilaree Cheddar Pizza. Tuesday

Wine and Shine at Tryst
Tryst (4 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach) is allowing guests to enjoy $10 cheese and charcuterie combo boards as well as 40 percent off of the entire selection of bottled wines. This special is all night long. Visit TrystDelray.com.

Wednesday

Wine Dinner at Adena 
Adena Grill and Wine Bar (900 Silks Run, Hallandale Beach) will feature a six-course wine dinner at 7 p.m. The wines featured will be from Hawk and Horse Vineyards, and the dinner will be led by its owner, Mitch Hawkins. Courses include poached lobster salad, potato gnocchi, organic roasted chicken breast, oxtail, beef tenderloin, and dark-chocolate torte for dessert. Admission is $125. Thursday

Caymus Vineyards Wine Pairing Dinner
NYY Steak (Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, 5550 NW 40th St., Coconut Creek) is hosting a four-course meal featuring Caymus Vineyards Wines. Starting at 7:30 p.m., there will be a cocktail reception at Legends Lounge with the dinner following at 8 p.m. Courses include butter-poached cold-water lobster tail, bison carpaccio and pan-seared wagyu tenderloin, and molten chocolate cake. Matt Green, Florida Market manager for the Wagner Family of Wine, will host the event. Tickets cost $249 per person. Call 954-585-5379.

Wolf Bar Grand Opening
Wolf Bar (2209 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors) will be celebrating its grand opening at 7 p.m. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be free cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. At 8:30 p.m. is the Wolf Showcase where partial proceeds will be donated to the Poverello Food Bank. Visit WolfBars.Club.

Habit Burger Limited Time Sandwich
Habit Burger (1801 S. Federal Highway, Delray Beach) has introduced its chicken caprese sandwich, which will be offered for the last day today. This costs $6.95. Visit HabitBurger.com.

All Week Long

St. Patty's Day Burger
Burger Bar (Donald Ross Village, 4650 Donal Ross Road, Palm Beach Gardens) will offer a St. Paddy's Day burger as its featured Burger of the Week. The sandwich includes a prime beef patty, sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing on rye bread. This burger will be available until Sunday and is $15.50.
