11th-Annual Taste of the Island

Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve (1937 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors) will host the Taste of the Island from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be over 20 local restaurants and bars such as Kelly’s Landing, Warsaw Coffee, Blue Martini, and Funky Buddha Brewery. Tarpon Tap/Hollywood Brewing
Tarpon Bend | Fort Lauderdale (200 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) will be the host of a tap takeover by Hollywood Brewing. This is from 5 to 9 p.m. and includes $2 sliders all night. Visit tarponbend.com.

Wednesday

Fort Lauderdale Whiskey Society Meet-Up
Stache (109 SW Second Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will host the Fort Lauderdale Whiskey Society meet-up. Guests will be able to sample whiskeys from Sazerac Company and Bruichladdich. This event is free to attend and starts at 7 p.m. Visit stacheftl.com.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Piccolo (2826 E. Commercial Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will host a Thanksgiving-style wine pairing dinner. Beer Pairing Dinner With Copperpoint Brewing
The Brass Tap (950 N. Congress Ave., Boynton Beach) will have a four-course beer pairing dinner with Copperpoint Brewing Co. White Truffle and Wine Dinner Paring
Casa D’Angelo (1201 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale) will host a white truffle and wine dinner pairing with Michele Chiarlo Wines. Entrees include beef and asparagus carpaccio, white truffle risotto, roasted veal tenderloin, ravioli, and dark chocolate mousse. This starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $195. Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase
Mizner Golf & Country Club (6200 Boca Del Mar Dr., Boca Del Mar) will host a friendly competition for the ultimate Boca-style community tailgate recipe samplings. Kuro (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) will be offering a five-course tasting menu featuring the James Beard dinner offerings. This is available until November 14. Football Specials at Burger Bar
Burger Bar (4650 Donald Ross Rd., Palm Beach Gardens) will celebrate the NFL season with $14 domestic beer buckets, $18 imported beer buckets, and appetizer specials.
