As a seedling, South Florida photographer Robert Giordano wanted little more than to be a well-known architect when he reached adulthood. Then high school hit and the structural framing of architecture gave way to the natural framework of the photograph. The two paths would battle again in college when Giordano traded in his major in engineering for fine arts. Take that, starting salary of $64,000! Instead, Robert’s knack of melding organic with industrial was put to better use in photos that evoke both Man Ray and Frank Lloyd Wright at once.

In his show, opening tonight at Undergrounds Coffeehaus, he uses the industrial materials of electrical wire, paper, and even garbage bags to shelter and encase the human form.
