Early-morning
visitors at CityPlace see a far different piazza than their night-owl
counterparts: The crowds are gone, the dancing fountain is quiet, and
nearly every seat around the center plaza beckons you to
wile away the morning sipping coffee. And for the next few days -
through July 31 - you can get a free LaVazza coffee with any breakfast
purchase at Il Bellagio, the stately Italian eatery that sits fountain-side within the Harriet Himmel Theater.
The coffee giveaway celebrates the early-morning opening of Il Bellagio and its new breakfast menu.
The
place is offering traditional items, including waffles and eggs, along
with Italian-inspired dishes: ricotta pancakes with orange zest and
walnuts, omelets with salami and provolone, and crepes with fruit and
Nutella or mascarpone cream. We think "Nana's Breakfast" - grilled
Italian toast with an egg cooked in the center and served with roasted
peppers and potatoes - is sure to be a favorite.
Breakfast
runs daily from 7:30 to 11 a.m. And if you can't make it there early
enough, there's always lunch and dinner, which runs through 11 p.m.
