Fine wines, gourmet food, craft beers, big toys, and world-wide dinner trends are all on the menu for the discerning South Floridian looking for a way to celebrate the good life. Monday

Cheers For Charity- Gems Tasting at the Riverside Hotel Enjoy food? Love wine? Why not pair the two together? Benefitting Junior Achievement South Florida, the event features food and wine pairings from wineries such as Beckstoffer, Husic Vineyards, Bodega Rancho, Alexana Family Winery, Sodaro Estate Winery, Gamble Family Vineyards, St Helena Winery and Blue Rock Vineyards. Tickets go for $125. The Gems tasting starts at 5:30 and ends at 8:30pm.

Young Professional Happy Hour Network at Max's Harvest Most people are friendlier after a couple of cocktails. Max's Harvest wants to guests ease out of their social anxiety by featuring cocktails and networking. For $10 in advance (before 11 am) or $15 at the door (cash only, please) customers will get to enjoy one specialty cocktail and $5 drinks and $5 bar bites until 7:30pm. The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Tuesday

Cheers For Charity- Mixology Madness at the Riverside Hotel
Who doesn't love a cocktail? From 5:30 to 8:30 pm, for $125, patrons are invited to sip and learn about cocktail concoctions from the "mixologists". Absolut, Avion, Chivas Regal, Jamesons, and Malibu will be featured. Proceeds will be going toward Children's Diagnostic Treatment Center.

Networking to Help Children
We get it. You're busy. In order to free up extra time multitasking is a must. Cue: Networking to Help Children. The event held at Carmine's Original Ocean Grill & Sushi Bar in Palm Beach Gardens from 5:30 to 7:30pm. One hundred percent of the minimum $10 donation will be going to Genesis Assistance Dogs, Inc. Specials include half-priced drinks and complimentary appetizers and sushi.

The Nuts and Bolts of Biodynamic Wines
Appease your inner wino by joining Summer Wolff of Indie Winery and Luigi Maresca of Tuscan Wine Imports for a tasting at the Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy in West Palm Beach. The event, running from 6:00 to 7:00pm, will feature six Italian or biodynamic wines for $40.

Wednesday

Cheers For Charity- Bubblicious at the Riverside Hotel
Celebrate the finer things in life by learning how to pair food with sparkling wine. From 5:30 to 7:30 for $125, the event will benefit the Sun Sentinel's Children Fund.

Pumpkin Beer Fest
The colors may not be changing down here, but fall is in the air. Rejoice in the only sign of the south Florida's autumnal season with a plethora of pumpkin beer. From 5 to 10 p.m., The Blind Monk in West Palm Beach will be holding a pumpkin beer tasting, featuring five different gourd flavored beers. There will even be a pumpkin carving contest to fully honor the season.

Thursday

Cheers For Charity- Wine Tasting in Center Court
Take in the river and the evening air at this wine tasting in downtown Fort Lauderdale's Huizenga Park. From 5:30 to 8 p.m., for $75, all proceeds will be going toward Children's Home Society.

Diner en Blanc
Labor day may have recently passed, but this dinner party is all about the white. This worldwide dining sensation is making it's way to Fort Lauderdale as the Grand Finale of the Cheers for Charity dining events. For $125, guests dressed in all white will be enjoying a three course dinner, including wine and cocktails, from 20 different Las Olas restaurants. Dinner will be served from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Boat Show Kick-Off Party
Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America. Why? Because we are chock full of boats. That being said, it's no wonder we host one of the largest boat shows in the world. In downtown Fort Lauderdale's Esplanade Park from 6 to 9 p.m., boat show season will commence with the Boat Show Kick-Off Party. The event will feature food trucks: Big Kahuna, Dog Eat Dog, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho Bizness, Porkalicious.
