Top Chef mentor, judge and hottie Tom Colicchio welcomed a brand new baby boy into the world yesterday. Tom tweeted that his wife Lori Silverbush gave birth to a 7.9 pound son, Mateo Lev Colicchio, yesterday at 12:11PM in New York City.

Mateo is Colicchio's third son. Colicchio also has a 19-month old son, Luka Bodhi, with Silverbush and 17-year-old Dante from a previous relationship.

Tom's been tweeting his thanks to friends and fans all day, including this statement, "Children start off conservative, they strive for independence and with wisdom they become liberals".

Besides his Top Chef duties, Colicchio owns several restaurants including Craft and Colicchio & Sons.
