Juiceblendz in Weston is having a grand opening celebration this Saturday, June 25, with a special appearance by Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem.
Haslem will sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Smoothie purchase. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Juiceblendz Foundation, which raises funds for local schools.
The South Florida-based company has 13 locations and two food trucks and specializes in healthy Smoothies like "The Marathoner" (fresh berries, orange juice, and Multiplex), "Go Bananas" (bananas, skim milk, and fat-free yogurt), and "The Hangover Healer" (orange juice, bananas, strawberries, Multiplex, and Glycerol).
The opening celebration will also feature the Miami Heat Dancers, face-painting, and a balloon artist for the kids.
