Floridians watching this season's Top Chef can cheer on Chris Jones, Fort Lauderdale native and chef de cuisine at Moto in Chicago and his Floridian sous chef Richie Farina, from Riverview.

After round two of the show, should you feel inspired to do some cooking, check out this food porn and get a jump on the holiday with these Thanksgiving recipes from Florida alums of Top Chef.

Toasted challah and chorizo stuffing from Michelle Bernstein
Former Top Chef judge Michelle Bernstein suggests a spicy recipe with a nod to her Jewish and Latin roots, from Gilt Taste.

Apple bread pudding from Kenny Gilbert
From season 7, this alum currently resides in Jacksonville and mans the kitchen at Nipper's Beach Bar and Grille. An apple bread pudding can serve as a sweeter treat among sides.

Mushroom risotto from Howie Kleinberg
From the Miami native behind Bulldog Barbecue, Kleinberg from season 3 displays his holiday dish that reflects his classical cooking background that's not always on display in his rustic barbecue joint.

Apple fennel soup from Jeff McGinnis
From season 5, native Floridian Jeff McGinnis, former executive chef of Gigi and head of southern inspired, newly-opened Yardbird, offers a polished first course that's an easy, make ahead dish that takes under an hour.

Having served under Mark Militello, as sous chef for Michelle Bernstein at Miami's Tantra, and as executive chef for Ortanique in Coral Gables, Mair from season 3 now resides in Grand Cayman helming its sister restaurant since last year. Her savory bread pudding is seasonal for these parts, where tomatoes are coming into season.
