Japan has experienced horrible devastation in the past week, but if there's one thing for sure about the Japanese people, is that they have a great sense of humor. On Saturday you can celebrate Japanese whimsy with a panel on Wacky Japanese Snacks at The Morikami Museum's Hatsumi Fair, presented by Tate's Comics.

This panel will discuss such Japanese culinary wonders as squid pops (tiny frozen squid dipped in almond sugar on a stick), seaweed flavored Lay's chips, fish candy and pocky.

After the discussion, guests will have the opportunity to sample and purchase some of these unusual treats. Guests can also meet some Japanese snack mascots.

Tickets are $10 in advance for adults, $5 for kids. At the door, adult tickets are $12, kids $6. 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach, FL 561-495-0233
