If Boca's Table 42 Italian Kitchen + Wine Bar keeps adding new dishes, it may have to change its name to Table 43.
Okay, not really, but Gary Rack's stylish trattoria-enoteca in Royal Palm Place is bulking up its menu for the coming season, adding everything from new burgers to a DIY pasta option.
As part of the restaurant's "Burger Night Wednesdays"
top toque Matthew Danaher will come up with a $10 monthly signature
burger, made with all-natural Harris Ranch beef. On the menu for
December is the Bella Burger, which tops off the patty with Thousand
Island dressing, portabella mushrooms, Vermont cheddar, smoked bacon and
lettuce.
On the menu daily are new lunch items like a hanger
steak panini with gorgonzola, arugula and onions, and dinner dishes
baked clams with lemon, garlic and ciabatta crumbs and stuffed pork chop
with prosciutto, provolone and basil.
Also making its debut is a
have-it-your-way pasta offering, which gives a choice of different
pastas (rigatoni, linguine, penne, gnocchi), sauces (oil-garlic, vodka,
arrabiatta, alfredo, pomodoro, pesto) and proteins (sausage, chicken,
shrimp, meatball, calamari). Base price of the pasta and sauce is $14;
proteins will take on an extra $5 or $7.
