Mark Wahlberg, the rapper turned actor turned restaurateur, plans to open a burger joint just outside of Boston with brothers Donnie and Paul (who is a chef), according to the Boston Herald.

The hamburger restaurant was labeled a "go" after the brothers secured the trademark to the name Wahlburger from a restaurant chain in Rochester, New York. Terms of that transaction were not divulged.

Wahlburgers is scheduled to open soon at Hingham Shipyard in Hingham,

Massachusetts, a seaside town located 19 miles from Boston. The 4,300

sq. ft. restaurant will have 80 seats indoors and an additional 40 seats

on the patio. It has already been approved for a liquor license.

This makes the second restaurant for Wahlberg's Paragon Funding Group III, LLC. It also owns Italian restaurant Alma Nove,

located in Hingham. The restaurant was named for Wahlberg matriarch

Alma, who has nine (nove) children. Paul Wahlberg is executive chef at

the restaurant.

The brothers have plans to also open a pizza restaurant sometime in the spring of 2012.
