The start of the season also means the haven for all things crabby, Joe's Stone Crab, reopens today for the 97th time. The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. sharp (lunch hours begin on October 20) and takes no reservations. A manager at Joe's told Charlie she expects a wait tonight, but eager customers arriving by 5 should be fine. She guaranteed that everyone who shows up will be seated by close.
