Allen Susser is looking for folks who know when to shake and when to stir for Burger Bar, his newest concept slated to open in Palm Beach Gardens. Must also have "deep knowledge" of craft beers and cocktails. Send résumés in the body of an email, and attach a photo, to [email protected], or check it out here.
DB Bistro Moderne in Miami needs
a sommelier. The candidate should have five-plus years of experience,
with at least one year in a French restaurant. She should have an
"inexhaustible love of wine, food, and service as well as quick ability
to 'read' a guest. They [sic] are the liaison between the guest and our
extensive wine list and cellar." For the full listing, click here. (Palm Beach County people, don't forget about Cafe Boulud's open call September 26 and 27 that we told you about last week, here.)
Speaking of Miami, Edge Steak & Bar -- currently under construction
-- has 35 position openings for servers, hosts, bartenders, hosts, and
runners. Open call is September 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Four
Seasons Hotel at 1435 Brickell Ave. in the sixth-floor meeting room.
Pizza makers wanted. "No drunks, drug addicts, or chain smokers" reads this one, while Carmine's LaTrattoria seeks cooks and pantry folks for more varied tasks.
Coffee snobs, this job
may be for you. Brew needs baristas at both locations. (I live at both
and will likely see you every single morning and afternoon.)
Shake
it for Pirates Booty to ensure that Pirate's Booty, Smart Puffs, Potato
