Don't drown in your beer, blues fans -- drink it up, and listen to some great live tunes, at Whole Foods' Friday night Blues & Brews concert series.

For two years now, this sudsy musical celebration has invaded Whole Foods Coral Springs each and every Friday night, combining local blues acts with fresh craft beer, wine, and coffee. The concerts run from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Allegro Coffee Bar & Cafe and are free to all.

This Friday marks the second anniversary party for the series, an occasion that will be presided over by musical acts Blues Bobby, Josh Rowand, and Deny Rowand, the same trio that launched the series two years ago. Says Whole Foods Coral Springs' marketing coordinator, Johnny Rose, "It was intended to last throughout the summer of 2009, but due to popularity, Friday Night Blues & Brews became a year-round event."

Each of the artists appearing in the lineup are proud members of the South Florida Blues Society and include Grant Piper, Pix-E Ensign, George Maheras, Niles Blaize, and Marc Robin.

Visit Whole Foods Coral Springs' website for week-by-week lineups.
