Following in the steps of Avicii's "Wake Me Up," Ke$ha and hometown boy Pitbull have gone country. The two performed their newest duet "Timber" at the American Music Awards this past weekend, and now released a video for the thing. And whaddya know? It was filmed in Davie, at Round Up Contry Western Nightclub and Restaurant.

The continuing refrain in this ditty is: "it's going down. Timber." Since no trees fall in the video, we must assume it is a play on words for a good time being had. For Mr. Worldwide, going down means swimming with sharks and hanging with a hottie while wearing a Miami Vice era blazer and pants in the ocean.

Ke$ha, however, thinks going down is a more social and industrious activity that requires less clothing. For her, it's going down to a ranch where she chops wood and riding a mechanical bull at the honky tonk.

Earlier this month, 25 crew members, 40 extras, a dozen dancers, and one Ke$ha spent a long day from 8 a.m. to midnight, filming the video at Round Up. Round Up's general manager John Lindsay observed and enjoyed the proceedings. "The crew and Ke$ha were great to deal with. It was fun to see the dancers and all the equipment like the boom crane."

Lindsay just watched the finished video for the first time online a couple hours before speaking with us, and was impressed with the way the bar looked. "They changed a few things around. But if you know the club, it's easy to figure out it's Round Up."

And how was Ke$ha's form on the mechanical bull? "She didn't get thrown off, which is half the battle, especially with those big boots she was wearing. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give her a 6."
