For the tenth straight year, a boatload of hippies will be getting high as balls on the high seas aboard Jam Cruise. That is, as long as the bully authorities don't ambush the scene and gank their stashes like they did last year. This year's lineup is looking pretty good, but for real, it would be nice if the peaceful passengers, who will be dropping tons of money on the voyage (and illicit party favors), could make it aboard with their goods so that they can rage the vessel properly.

It's no secret that the jam community has lots of drug enthusiasts within it. So, it seems a bit unfair for the po po to wait for them to all line up to get on a cruise ship bound for the Caribbean and start busting them. Such action reeks of trickery, like the proverbial mustached creep in the white cargo van, calling the kiddies over for a sucker in order to achieve unholy thrills. Granted, most Jam Cruisers are hip enough to take precautions -- that's why only 15 out of 3,000 cruisers were busted last year. But those who avoided the handcuffs had to flush their valuable supplies and board the "trip ship" empty-handed. Bummer!

Well, here's to hoping that the feds, and local fuzz, direct their attention to more serious matters next January and let the kids have their fun. Either way, the ship is gonna be rockin' with the help of these stellar acts:
