Record Store Day brings with it a load of live music and music that was once performed live, recorded, pressed into wax, then purchased and brought home. Though Lil Daggers, who will be performing at Radio-Active Records on April 21, released their LP last year, they're selling thirty copies of a special Record Store Day vinyl edition.
Singer Johnny Saraiva designed the cover art, "It's a new cover specifically for Record Store Day. It says RSD2012 on it." he says of the distinction. Bringing home a limited edition album by a band like Lil Daggers would be the right thing to do on RSD. So do it.

"I think Record Store Day is great," Saraiva says, "It helps create a bond between local independent music outlets and the communities they are in. Both Sweat and Radio-Active are wonderful examples of independant record stores with a meaning and positive impact on our community." Hells yes.
