It looks like Broward is getting another venue. Except this time, there seems to be a serious dedication to promoting local musicians and art! The IWAN concept production facility's Grand Opening Gallery Event Showcase will take place June 6 with art by 15 artists such as Francesco LoCastro (who painted the entire front of the warehouse shown above), Lisa Parrott, and Erick Arenas. Over 13 local bands will perform on two stages, including Dooms De Pop, Mr. Entertainment, and Scott Putesky.

Though details remain sketchy, we do know that the "concept facility" hopes to provide artists and musicians with 3000 square feet of space to rehearse (with a mini studio to record), display art, a place to network and promote artwork, and hold movie nights and concerts. The space still needs a name, and the owner is open to suggestions.

The venue is located at 810 NE 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale. If you're an artist and want to be involved in this project email [email protected].
