On Labor Day, we enjoy the fruits of our labors and, well, the fruits of others' as well.
Although it's considered a day to rest, it's also one of the finest party weekends of the year. You can get shitfaced Sunday without the risk of flaunting nasty bloodshot eyes all over the office on Monday morning.
Celebrate summer's end (Bye-bye summertime!) with these ten best Labor Day parties, ranging from artsy to period-specific to classy and, of course, downright fucking wild.
10. Labor Day Fun in the Sun Pool Party

Party the luxurious way at Boca Raton's Waterstone Resort and Marina. DJ Dekade Dekade, a regular at these Sunday parties, will provide the nu-disco, indie tunes, and deep house, so you can sway or bounce your day away with specially priced cocktail and champagne flutes in hand. Let's not forget there will be shots from Jelloshotgirlz Ft. Liquordale that will certainly make for a memorable, if not also sloppy, day.
9. Vibe Labor Day Weekend
Thursday, August 28, until Sunday, August 31, at Vibe, 301 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. $10 cover for guys on the weekend. Visit vibelasolas.com.
Prep yourself for this event, party animals. Unlike other fetes starting Saturday or Sunday, Vibe's party starts Thursday and ends Sunday. This intense event features DJs from all different areas codes, such as Orlando's Kid Judah, Derek Walin from Miami, DJ Excel from L.A., and Boston's Richard Fraioli. Adam Foster and Todd Stylez are the residents supplying the local sonic flavors.
Each night provides a lil sumtin' sumtin', such as live nitro acts from the Party Robot on Saturday and violinist Dave Damage on Friday. You may need more than just a Red Bull to get you through this four day long party.
8. RJ Art Junkies and Rumors Present Labor Day Block Party

If you're looking for a Labor Day party different than your typical booze fest, then this event is for you! Rumors Bar & Grill joins forces with Recycled Jude to bring you a more cultured booze fest complete with live art, craft pop up shops, and, of course, $2.50 mimosas and bloody Marys. DJ Joshua Atom will dominate the outside stage while you browse eyeing some art.
7. Second Annual Salvagerz Hot Rod and Kustom Extravaganza
3 p.m., Saturday, August 31, at Salvagerz Compound, 16932 W. Mayfair Dr., Loxahatchee. $5 cover. Visit Facebook.
This event is for those who love a hot rod and fast engine (we're referring to cars, you perverts). West Palm hosts the Second Annual Salvagerz Hot Rod and Kustom Extravaganza, a party full of cars, bikes, music, and burlesque.
The Butchers, Skinny Jimmy and the Stingrays, and the Wholetones play and Morgan La Rue and the Shimmy Shake Revue will bring the sexy. You can chow down on gourmet hot dog food trucks as you sip some booze from a flask. This event is BYOB.
And though it is considered a family friendly event, the Facebook page requests that the kids be out by 9 p.m. We're going to take a wild guess and say that this is probably when the burlesque ladies make their appearance.
6. Respectable Street's Cheesy '90s Homecoming

Overalls, scrunchies, Ty Beenie Babies, and a love for boy bands are all things that will go over well at Respectable Street's cheesy '90s homecoming this weekend.
Didn't win homecoming king or queen at your high school? The best dressed at this blowout will be awarded prizes and crowned, so you definitely have a chance to make up for your sorry ass teenage years.
If you don't win, drown your sorrows in $3 Zima Shots. And yes, this is the perfect time to execute your version of Spice Girls' "Wannabe" or Blind Melon's "No Rain."
5. Mad Men Party at Stache

Obsessed with Don Draper? Consider your Saturday night plans already made with Stache's Mad Men party. This themed par-tay is complete with '60s themed burlesque, craft cocktails, delectable hors d'ouvres, gourmet crepes, vendors, live art, and music by DJs LinderSmash and Tonx.
Bonus: Attendees pay $5 instead of $10 when RSVP-ing to [email protected]. The "London look" is strongly encouraged.

4. Labor Day Weekend White Brunch

An all white brunch sponsored by Moet champagne? They're so fancy, but you already know. Fort Lauderdale's swanky S3 restaurant hosts a Sunday funday brunch complete with live music and classy attire.
Twilight Note's Adam Foster will DJ with a live saxophone and violin player form the band Urban Tribal Project. It's going to be a bubbly and decadent way to celebrate the last day you can wear white until Memorial Day.
3. Labor Day Street Party

Downtown Fort Laudy celebrates Labor Day in the best way they know how, and that's with an all day, all night block party. Picture a DJ and live band, food and drink specials and all around debauchery when the sun goes down. Fam in town? Kids under 12 eat free till 6, so your little cousins can get all the food they need. Come at 7, it's your turn to party.
2. McSorley's Labor Day Weekend
10 p.m., Friday, August 29, to Sunday, August 31, at McSorley's Beach Pub, 837 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
Vibe isn't the only weekend-long party celebrating the end of summer. McSorley's will keep you entertained starting Friday and ending Monday with $2 drink specials with the purchase of a $10 wristband.
Sporadic shot specials will also be announced, so try not to tune out the DJs when flirting with your beer goggles on. DJ Carter Kid and DJ Krossover will end the event on a high note (see what we did there?) on Sunday. Luckily, you have Monday to sleep off the hangover.

Bull Market in Himmarshee is the talk of the town, and it will be sure to keep that title with its "We Made it Through the Summer!" party. Check out the 2-4-1 drinks, DJs, chow, and prizes such as two Andriod tablets, a flat screen TV, bar tabs, and more. Sure, you can buy those things, but the best things in life are, well, free. If you don't win anything, the Facebook event promises free high fives for all locals. See, not all is lost!
