It's been almost four years since Tyga's told us to "put the lime in the coconut and twist it all up" with his cousin, Gym Class Heroes' frontman Travie McCoy, on his debut album, No Introduction.

Don't worry if the album doesn't ring a bell. It was overshadowed by his boss' album, Tha Carter III. His labelmates Drake and Nicki Minaj have not made it easier for him to revel in the spotlight either.

But when the flashy, charismatic rapper joined forces with then-public-relations-nightmare Chris Brown in 2010 for the Grammy-nominated single "Deuces" off the Fan of a Fan mixtape, he had the whole nation saying, "Fuck love, I'm tired of trying. My heart big, but it beat quiet."

After flooding mixtape sites with consistent releases, the Young Money rapper has shown he can carry his own with his popular single "Rack City" off of his sophomore album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King.

If you're looking to hear some socially conscious hip-hop, this show is not for you. If you're up for hearing street singles about women, money, and clothing, then welcome aboard.

Tyga. 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, at Revolution Live, 100 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $30 with fees.
