Swedish DJ/producer Ida Engberg is one of the fastest-rising female stars in the male-studded world of techno. A resident at Stockholm's legendary Cocktail Club, her career was kicked off auspiciously in the mid-2000s and headed right to the top, where she's shared the decks with some of the biggest names in both commercial and underground EDM, including Roger Sanchez, Eric Prydz, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Lawler, and John Dahlbäck, who signed her to his Pickadoll label in 2007.

With an abundance of style and no shortage of soul, she weaves a rich tapestry of sounds ranging from melodic techno and funky minimal to deep house and electro, managing to top the European charts while simultaneously displaying a loyal reverence for her underground roots. Miss Engberg wowed audiences at this year's Sunday School for Degenerates WMC party and will doubtlessly win over more hearts at Space this Saturday night. Loft resident DJs Maurizio & Danyelino and Dsan Powell will be spinning in her support.

Ida Engberg at Space. Saturday, July 18 at 11 p.m.-11 a.m. 4 NE 11 St. Miami.
