Songs spanning her catalogue, from "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" and "Quimbara" to "La Vida Es Un Carnaval" and "Bemba Colorada," get tweaked with a modern touch of funk. Still, they're handled with the reverence that only musicians who shared the stage with La Guarachera could truly muster.

This Wednesday, the Celia Cruz All Stars will take to the stage along with reggaeton supertstars Alexis y Fido for Boost Mobile's Premios Juventud VIP Tour.
