West Palm Beach's favorite diner, Howley's, is good for so many things. It's ideal for brunch with a side of full bar, it's the best non-pizza, late night grubbing option, and as of yesterday, it's been granted some big time internet recognition. But not for the food, for the tunes.

Howley's is the backdrop for the latest music video from local boys done good, Surfer Blood, which premiered yesterday on RollingStone.com. Hometown pride aside, the video for "Say Yes to Me" is as enjoyable to watch as the song is to hear. It's genuinely funny and playful, and -- we're not exaggerating -- you'd be really missing out by not pressing play.

But it's not all gravy and sunshine. Surfer Blood received news that they had been dropped from Warner Brothers Records before filming, so they dipped back into the friend pool and had local creative agency Afflux Club put it together.

The video may be about lead singer Paul Pitts poisoning his bandmates and the Grim Reaper coming to do his dirty work, but in the end, it's an opportunity for the guys to show off their goofy side. Bunk beds are always delightful, and keen Surfer Blood fans will notice a reference to the "Floating Vibes" video on the way out.
