If you're either a) one of those that were bummed to have missed Enrique Bunbury, formerly of Heroes del Silencio, at The Fillmore yesterday, or b) were in fact at the Fillmore on said night, catching one of Spanish rock's old schoolers, than this show on Wednesday at the same spot is right up your alley.

Formed in Spain right around the same time as Heroes (actually, just a couple years prior), Hombres G went on to become one of the seminal rock groups out of la madre patria (the motherland). The 10 albums spanning their near-30-year career are considered by many to be amongst the most influential in the genre of Latin Rock, never mind in Spain, and Hombres are widely accepted as one of the groups that, along with others like Soda Estereo, paved the way for future generations.

They haven't dropped a disc since their 2007 release on Warner Music Spain, 10, but Hombres G are still trucking, as evidenced by this show, which is one of only four US stops before they head back across the pond to London and Malaga. Take advantage and catch them before they're Euro-bound once more. Tix are going for $50 to just under $100.
