Exciting! Apparently Nicki Minaj has a better attitude about being a support act for Britney Spears than the ego-tripping Enrique Iglesias. Having recently witnessed the live muscle of Minaj as one of the titillating highlights of Lil Wayne's I Am Still Music Tour stop last week, this pairing promises spectacle upon spectacle upon spectacle, and so forth.

Now that Nicki Minaj is officially Spears' opening act, the tickets can go on sale, and the one-up-womanship can begin! So far, it's been more pleasurable to experience the visual accompaniments for Britney's "Till the World Ends" than the foolish pickuppery of "Hold it Against Me," but there'll be no room for error if the opener is parading around the stage in a two-foot-high pink wig.

Meanwhile, Britney further shows her willingness to bridge with the R&B crowd. Today, she debuts a fresh verse on a new remix of Rihanna's "S&M." Stream the dance-friendly result at Z100.com.

The tour hits South Florida on July 22 at Miami's American Airlines Arena, and the rest of the dates are right here. Tickets are expected to go on sale "soon."
