Nope. You're not imagining it. Rascal Flatts is indeed everywhere. On Hershey's commercials. On the Today show. On reality shows like the recent Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. And next year, the country trio will get its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Rascal Flatts, whose 2009 album is appropriately titled Unstoppable, will make a return visit to West Palm Beach's Cruzan Amphitheater on Sept. 24. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Joining them will be American Idol season five alum Kellie Pickler and singer/songwriter Chris Young. Young's prayerful ballad "The Man I Want to Be" is in heavy rotation on country radio.
Rascal Flatts is the most awarded country act of the decade, thanks in part to the band's tremendous crossover appeal. More than a few fans can trace their love for the Flatts to the group's infectious hit "Life is a Highway," featured in the animated movie Cars. Countless others have gotten married to "Bless the Broken Road" or shed a few tears to the poignant "Skin (Sarabeth)."
Bandmates Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are celebrating their 10th anniversary as a group this year, and they plan to release a new album in September.
