Earlier this year, Lady Antebellum had to schedule a quick break from its Take Me Downtown tour so co-lead singer Hillary Scott could have a baby.

With this new addition to the trio, Scott told CMT back in April that bandmates Dave Haywood (who will also be a new parent soon) and the oh-so-hunky Charles Kelley have been more than supportive.

By Carolina del Busto

"I definitely have my moments where I'm like holding the baby, putting on my makeup, got a curler in my hair, hopping into the shower, whatever. I mean, there's a lot of plate spinning," Scott admitted. "But the guys have been incredible about having her out, and I think, honestly, enjoying her probably just as much as I do."

New baby aside, Lady Antebellum has been hard at work creating new music with the goal of staying current and classic at the same time. The Take Me Downtown tour supports the trio's fifth studio album, Golden. And along with the country music, the band brings an over-the-top visual element to its live shows -- we've read that there are confetti cannons. Here's hoping it lugs those bad boys down to the show this Friday at Hollywood's Hard Rock Live.

Gear up for the gig with a bottle of whiskey, and coo to yourself, "It's a quarter after 1, I'm a little drunk, and I need you now." You'll quickly learn that you need a little Lady Antebellum in your life.

Lady Antebellum. Take Me Downtown Tour, 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Hard Rock Live, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood. Tickets cost $54 to $84 plus fees. Call 954-797-5531, or visit hardrocklivehollywoodfl.com.
