And now for a completely horrifying news story to ruin your day.
A Florida man was arrested for killing and then cooking a 4-month old pit bull puppy.
The man apparently also cut the dog into several pieces and placed them in the freezer.
It was the family dog.
Thomas Elliot Huggins, a 25-year-old Tampa man, allegedly strangled the puppy to death, cut it into pieces, threw its head into the garbage, and began to cook some of the remains.
The man's family called police at around 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
When cops arrived to the home on 9607 N Aster Ave., Huggins was cooking the dog.
The puppy's ribs were cooking in a pot on the stove.
Huggins was arrested and booked in the Hillsborough County Jail. He's being held on $2,000 bail.
