Ray Allen blasted Coral Gables Police for the way they handled his home being broken into last week.
Last Thursday, a group of teens walked into Allen's home in the middle of the night while his wife and children were asleep. Allen was not home at the time.
According to police, the teens did not steal anything, and the entire break-in is being called a prank. No one was arrested or charged.
And for that, Allen is peeved.

According to police, six men and a woman between the ages of 18 and 19 from a party next door decided they wanted to get a look at Allen's house. The group of teens entered through an unlocked back door that had a busted lock on it. But Allen's wife, Shannon, was startled awake by the group's noise and began shouting at them until they ran out.
Following the break-in and the lack of arrests, Allen released a statement blasting the Coral Gables PD.
"The suggestion that anyone can unlawfully enter into someone's locked home and then into an occupied bedroom in the middle of the night without consequences is unsettling," Allen says in the statement. "Regardless of the stated or actual reason for such unlawful entry... everyone deserves to feel safe in their own homes."
For their part, the Coral Gables PD responded with a statement of their own, saying that there was no intent of a plan to commit a crime once inside the house. Although -- and we're no lawyers here but -- breaking into a home is also against the law.
"After further investigation and completion of the suspect interviews, the detectives, following established procedure, consulted with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office," their statement reads. "Upon learning from the detectives that, although the individuals had entered the residence, there was no proof that they had the intent to commit any crimes inside, the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office advised the detectives that no arrests should be made at that time, in that, the elements of a Burglary had not been met."
The police's statement does clarify that the State Attorney's Office says the crime of trespass is a misdemeanor.
"Law enforcement officers are not permitted by Florida law to make an arrest for a Trespass of this nature unless the crime occurs in their presence," the statement goes on to say. "Accordingly, the Coral Gables Police Department is continuing to work with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office and will work with the Allen Family regarding the filing of criminal charges."
For now, the Coral Gables PD has asked neighbors to come forward if they have any new information about the break-in.
Meanwhile, several reports are saying that Allen might be close to joining LeBron James in Cleveland and signing with the Cavaliers.
