Patrick Maxwell, wanted since Monday for shooting at two women upset over his infidelity, has been arrested by Boynton Beach Police and charged with attempted second-degree murder.
The probable cause affidavit tells of how on Monday morning at a home on Northeast Fourth Court in Boynton Beach, Maxwell was confronted by two women. One apparently believed the other was an aunt of Maxwell's only to learn that in fact the two were romantically involved. In the ensuing argument, he fired two shots. One of the women told police she heard the bullets whiz past her head, but neither woman was hit.
Shells from a 9mm gun were recovered at the scene. A SWAT team first thought it had cornered Maxwell in a home near the scene, only to find it was empty. With the help of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Maxwell was found on the 2600 block of North Seacrest Boulevard.
