Police say 61-year-old Dorothy Cooper went over to her neighbor's house in Oakland Park yesterday and asked him for $2.

That didn't work, so she asked for $5.

When that didn't work either, police say she became "outraged," then put a steak knife in his back and then in his buttcheek.

According to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff's Office, Cooper stabbed her neighbor as he was chasing her out of his house, until he fell to the ground and Cooper "left him there for dead" before going back to her place.

When the cops arrived, Cooper told them she had stabbed the man but said he "asked for sex" and hit her in the face.

Then she admitted that she had stabbed him for not giving her the $2, or the $5, according to the police report.

Cooper was arrested around 2 a.m. yesterday and was booked into the Broward County Jail on an attempted-murder charge.

She's being held without bond.
