  • Mercedes Morales may be an even more bloodthirsty spouse than Dalia Dippolito. The Miramar women is accused of hiring a hit man (who turned out to be an FBI agent) to murder her ex-husband as retaliation for his providing information that led to her arrest and prison sentence in a money-laundering case.   • A Boca Raton police officer fired shots early this morning after a suspicious vehicle he'd been following rammed his car. One of the occupants of the car was injured and is being treated at Delray Medical Center. Two more were arrested. And a fourth is on the run. [WPTV-5]
