Dominique Duval, the 23-year-old woman from Lauderhill who was allegedly abducted in Fort Lauderdale yesterday evening, was found shot late last night. She later died of a gunshot wound to the neck. From the release by Hollywood PD:

On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at approximately 11:20 p.m., detectives from Hollywood's Street Crimes Unit observed an older model black four door Mercedes traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on South 28th Avenue in Hollywood. Detectives attempted to conduct a traffic stop of the Mercedes when it abruptly pulled into the Shell Gas Station at 2801 Pembroke Road. When the vehicle came to a stop, a female exited the passenger side holding her neck and ran towards the officers. The driver exited and ultimately stated that he had shot the victim. The driver was taken into custody without incident. Hollywood Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to Memorial Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead from an apparent gun shot wound.
The driver, however, was not Antoine Joseph, the ex-boyfriend who Fort Lauderdale detectives had been searching for but rather 34-year-old Anton Jamar Josey, who according to the police report told officers, "I shot the bitch because she gave me HIV." He was booked on murder charges.
