Who doesn't love Sofia Vergara? The voluptuous celebrity manages to meld the comedic timing of Lucille Ball with the accent of Desi Arnaz into the body of a goddess.
Plus, the actress and model spends plenty of time in South Florida in a bikini.
Now, Vergara is channeling her energies into helping St. Jude Children's Research Hospital raise funds through the Buca di Beppo "Meatballs 4 Niños" campaign.
Starting today, January 22, order a meatball appetizer, entree, or side dish and the restaurant will donate $1 to St. Jude's Give Thanks Give Hope campaign. The offer is good for to-go orders, as well. Buca Di Beppo is famous for their meatballs, which weigh a whopping half-pound each. The charitable meatball campaign runs through the end of March.
"It means so much to me that one of my favorite restaurants is supporting a cause so dear to me," said Sofia Vergara. "And thanks to programs like 'Meatballs 4 Niños,' families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything - not for treatment, travel housing or food so all families have to worry about is helping their child live. I hope everyone will visit Buca di Beppo to experience their legendary meatballs and support St. Jude."
If eating meatballs helps a child (and gives us a banging body like Vergara's), we're all in.
