South Florida may not be hosting the Super Bowl anytime in the near future, but at least we have the chance to host another kind "bowl" this year.

Panera Bread and The Pap Corps are teaming up for a second-run with a food-focused fundraiser, a promo event that aimed at raising awareness and funds for The Pap Corps, the largest all-volunteer organization in the United States dedicated solely to funding research on all types of cancer.

Celebrate the second annual SOUPer Bowl, a week-long event that runs January 27 through February 3, during which all Broward and Palm Beach County Panera Bread locations will donate $1 to The Pap Corps for every bowl of soup sold. The promotion is available to dine-in and take-out customers, but excludes the "You Pick Two" selections.

Since 1952, The Paps Corp has donated more than $43 million to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, South Florida's only university-based cancer center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Last year's event was a huge success, raising $9,500 for the cancer research non-profit. So what are you waiting for? Get out their and drink some soup!<
