5. The Funky Nuggets

By the end of the workweek, you need to just let your hair down. Make it happen on Friday night at South Shore Tavern. The laid back bar is hosting funk-jazz-fusion-electronica-rock band the Funky Nuggets from 8 p.m. to midnight.

4. Family Fun Day

Finding adult-appropriate activities to do with kids can be hard. Fortunately, both kids and adults love the movies. On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bogart's Bar & Grill is hosting a family fun day to celebrate Cinemark's new children's hours. Kids to get to partake in face painting, entertainment, free snacks, giveaways, and more, while parents eat and relax. All kids can receive a free meal with purchase of an entree until 5 p.m. Plus, Shine Talent Agency will be onsite holding a casting for kids 6 to 18 starting at 11 a.m.

3. Full Moon Rising

Full moon parties are all about connecting with the earth on a more visceral level. From 5 to 10 p.m., this Sunday S3 hosting a full moon party that's all about connecting, with beautiful people. Body sushi, a fire dancer, and sultry music by the restaurant's resident DJ should help with the sex appeal.

2. Palm Beach Craft Beer Festival

If there's one thing we have in Broward and Palm Beach, it's definitely craft beer. This Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m., with VIP early entrance at 3 p.m., the Palm Beach Craft Beer Festival is descending upon the Meyer Amphitheatre with over 40 local, regional, and international brewers, food, and a home brewing contest with a first prize of $500. General admission tickets are $40, VIP are $80.
