In most of the northern hemisphere, fall signals a beginning of the end; the sweet days of summer are giving way to the cold winter wind.
Fortunately, in South Florida, it signals the complete opposite. The oppressive summer's heat and humidity is finally on the way out and the perfectly crisp breeze of the dry season is about to begin.
And with fall comes a fresh crop of flavors, ideally suited for weather.

Bull Market's Pumpkin Old Fashioned
Combine Don Draper's love of Old Fashioned with white girl's adoration for the venerated PSL, and you get this tasty fall drink. It's a hearty combination of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Gran Gala, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup. It's sweet, savory, and slightly spicy - and, unlike the PSL, it'll get you nice and drunk.
Steak 954's Cherry Brown
Cherry season may officially be the summer, but this bourbon-filled drink screams fall, if you ask us -- alcohol is a preservative, obviously. The drink is a combination of Baker's 7 Year Bourbon, Cherry Heering, Dolin Sweet Vermouth, and housemade cherries. It's slightly sweet, kind of nutty, with well-rounded hints of bitter notes. This drink is everything most Manhattan's wish they could be.
Stout Irish Pub's Irish Apple Pie
According to the saying, apple pie is as American as it gets -- but hey, we prefer the Irish when it comes to our drinking sentiment. Stout is combining our love for the good ole U.S.A. with a little luck of the Irish in this sweet little whiskey drink. It combines apple and cinnamon scented Irish whiskey, Paddy's Devil's Apple with fresh lemon juice and a dash of orange. It's finished with a graham cracker crust rim and a slice of granny smith.
Valentino Cucina Italiana's Mulled Apple Cider
Fall may not be cold in South Florida, but there's nothing like a warm drink (consumed in A/C, of course) to get you feeling like we have more than two seasons. Valentino has got you covered. The beloved Italian eatery is offering a mulled apple cider composed of apple pie moonshine, spiced apple bourbon, and cinnamon bitters topped with homemade vanilla whipped cream, shaved nutmeg, and cinnamon sugar. It'll have you feeling warm and comforted in no time.
3030 Ocean's You're Maple'ling My Rye
Maple trees may get tapped at the beginning of each spring, but there's something about the sweet and spicy flavor that makes us think of fall -- whatever, we like it, and can always find a good excuse to drink. This signature cocktail at 3030 combines it with rye in the the right way. Bulleit rye is mixed with fresh lemon and orange juices, maple syrup, and Luxardo Amaro Abano for a drink that's syrupy and soothing.
