Bummed out that this weekend's pork-a-palooza (AKA BaconFest) is sold out? Turn that frown upside down. As of Friday morning, a limited number of entertainment-only tickets will be released for a price tag of $15 a pop.
Note: these tickets are for entertainment only. They don't include the sampling of food bites from scheduled vendors, BUT there will be additional food items for sale.
So even though you have to buy food a la carte -- and you won't get the full slate of bacony goodness -- you will get to listen to the likes of the Bacon Brothers. And that's pretty appetizing in itself.
The tickets, which will be available on Ticketmaster starting at 8 a.m. on the 22nd, are for entertainment only, so no pork partaking.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek box office on Saturday, February 23, at 10 a.m.
The festival will be led by chef Todd Fisher, host of United States of Bacon. In addition, attendees will see performances by The Bacon Brothers (Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael) and The Dan Band (with frontman Dan Finnerty, AKA the wedding singer from Old School).

BaconFest will also feature a chef throw down competition with celebrity judges concocting the best bacon recipes, as well as a rides on Harley the Mechanical Pig, corn-hole and beer can bowling, and a Harley Davidson showcase with more than 50 "hogs."
BaconFest is 21-and-over only and kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
